I supported a studio for over 20 years. I found that at least half my shoots were on lcation at my clients place of business but if I needed a studio I would rent as needed. That helped me cut my overhead which meant I could pass along that savings to my client. Also I had the flexibility to pick from several rental studios in different parts of town, thus more convenient for my clients,
